History was made at the Army's Best Ranger Competition this year. For the first time ever, there was a female soldier in the competition.
First Lt. Gabrielle White and her teammate, Capt. Seth Deltenre finished the grueling three-day event in 14th place – out of 52 teams. White is a former West Point cadet who graduated from Ranger School in 2022. Female soldiers were not allowed to be Rangers until 2015.
