Global travel website Big 7 Travel came up with a list of the most charming towns in the US and Stockbridge, Mass landed at number one. Not only did Western Mass lead the way, three other New England towns made it into the top ten (we couldn't less surprised!). Big 7 Travel only looked at communities with a maximum population of 50,000 that “hold a unique quality.”

- Woodstock, Vt.
- Big Sky, Mont.
- Sugar Hill, N.H.
- St. Augustine, Fla
- Magnolia Springs, Ala.
- Meredith, N.H.
- Yellow Springs, Ohio
- Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif.
- Eureka Springs, Ark.
